As you know, I attended a conference last week. It was an awesome experience, one I would not trade for the world. It has, however, thrown me a little off *balance*.
Since I always try to live what I write and recommend here on Living the Balanced Life, I felt it would be wrong of me to put on my happy mask and just write a blog post I thought you might want to read. We will get back on track next week with the 8 week Journey to Balance, but for now I am needing to process a lot of info, as well as get much some needed rest. Most of my roommates ended up with the flu bug, so I am praying I am not going to come down with that!
I am planning on posting a recap of the wonderful talk that Brene Brown gave later this week, and will be doing a giveaway of her latest book-
The Gifts of Imperfection: Let Go of Who You Think You’re Supposed to Be and Embrace Who You Are
That title in itself is heavy and you can hopefully understand why I cannot just throw a post together just for the sake of having something to say today.
In the meantime, if you are new here, visit the Journey to Balance page to read and catch up where we are in our journey! And if you’d like, head over to Goodeness Gracious to meet my *untribe* I hung with last week!

I love Brene Brown. As soon as I can dig my car out this week, I’m going to buy her book.
She’s a great speaker with a wonderful gift of sharing her thoughts in an entertaining and yet thought provoking way.
Stopped by from SITS to say hi.

I never heard of Brene Brown, but I think I need to go and buy that book. It sounds like something I really need to read to find my balance.
