What was the last book you read?
If you were in the library, what section would you go to first?
Non-fiction? What subjects?
Fiction? What genre? Mystery, historical, romance?
If you were to end up in a library, would you ask:
“What the heck am I doing here?”
If that’s the case, you need to develop a habit of going to the library and finding out what you want to learn about.
How many books do you own? The questions for you are basically same as above. And if you don’t own any, better start looking!
What about reading and researching online?
The good thing about the internet is that there is so much information updated on a regular basis, that even those who consider themselves “non-readers” DO actually read online. One way to determine what your areas of interest are– what websites do you visit repeatedly?

In what niche do you fit?
Do you read about cats? Knitting? Babies? Recipes? Decorating? Do-it-yourself projects? Latest tech gadgets?
It’s important that you expand your knowledge, that you have soemthing that you love to learn about. Even if it is just 5 minutes a day, you need to find time to feed your mind!
What subjects do you read about when you have chance?
I would love to hear from my readers! Tell me your story! If it is too personal please feel free to email me instead at imperfectlybalanced @ gmail.com (be sure to remove the spaces!)

I’m reading The Boleyn Wife by Brandy Purdy. I just got into historical fiction recently.

I have not read much fiction lately, however, when I homeschooled my kids, we always had a historical fiction going as a read-aloud!
